Christmas lunch at the Ukrainian Beer Bar in Malmö with the Southern Sweden Producers Association (SSPA). A sum up of the year’s film productions on the screen and Swedish and Ukrainian flavours on the plates – and in the glasses!

Today we had a lunch meeting with the Southern Sweden Producers Association (SSPA) and the Swedish Film Institute’s newly appointed commissioning editor for feature films, Andrea Östlund at the newly opened Ukrainian Beer Bar in Malmö. A delicious lunch was provided by the neighbouring restaurant Kv Flora. Yummy!

Smartfilm is proud to deliver news of our upgraded post production studio in Malmö, Sweden. Apart from our competent editing suits and an upgrade of our 5.0 audio studio we have now alos completed the building of a first-class grading and compositing studio. Utilising DaVinci Resolve and Nuke, we will be able to take film productions to new levels.

The 24th of March everyone in the SSPA network is welcome to take part of the opening of the new studio at Linnégatan 24 in Limhamn, Malmö. We hope to see you there!

We’re happy to announce the premiere of “Nästan inget” – a new humor show on SVT, line produced by Solid’s Magnus Paulsson for our friends at Anagram Sweden. The six episode series was shot in Malmö and produced by Erik Magnusson, directed by Martin Larsson and Anders “Ankan” Johansson.

We are happy to announce that Solid Entertainment’s co-production A Thousand Hours (1000 timmar), directed by Carl Moberg had its world premiere at the Festa del Cinema di Roma in October 2021.

Solid’s Magnus Paulsson and Anders Banke spent an intense and fun week all over beautiful Skåne, being service providers to our friends at Edithouse Film Works during their Volvo commercial shoot in September 2021.

Solid Entertainment works on a new comedy tv-series for SVT through Anagram Sverige.
